So, today I visit my brother's university, simply because somehow my brother sucsessfully broke his 300D. Then, when I drive to his campus, I saw...
I saw the hyper-mileage car that I build.
That white one. Abandoned. Alone. With the only thing left was the bodycase..
I want to cry. I feels like it needs a better home. I want to take her home, but somehow my campus won't let me.
I know, it's looks like a gentelman's sausage. But hey, it's a working car that you build by your own hand and won the first place in southeast asia eco challange!
The specs was 100cc engine, taken out from a honda motorcycle, and tuned to make the biggest mpg possible. The car get 1024mpg, but all the other aspect like handling, speed, comfort, is rubbish. But still, it's my own creation...
I haz a sad..

No. 10. But at the event I tell my friend to go as slow as possible.

Congratulations on that feat. Unbelievable mileage. Sad to see what happened to it.

That does suck.
What was the reason you can't get it back from the uni?

Can you disappear it with the help of some friends and a smallish truck?

So did you go 1000 miles in it? Or a significant fraction of that that could then be scaled up?

No.
Simply because the car only get 1 litre tank.
The rule was, you fill the car with 1 litre tank, and then drive it as long as you can in Malaysia's sepang circuit. I got arround 420km.
The the judge announce the result in km/l and mpg, which is weird.

They said it's a uni's assets. Unless you pay for all the research cost, which is somewhere arround 20k.
